Is just now starting to use timber 2 need to know about the best chain of the chainsaw and the best types of wood for the fireplace small!?
I would like to use an ax and saw .., since I'm of a rather large, burly, Feller! That would allow me the luxury of cutting timber on land that either could it be otherwise prohibited … haw, haw racket chainsaw not already know, I mean I need advice on this NO pine or gum sweet or what? Firewood Green or seasoned? Charcoal / boot records as diesel fuel or good?
You buy a chain saw, according to the width of the wood to be cut. I like the Husqvarna saws, myself, but others are good too. The best I can tell you about candy or gum black gum is not even try to divide, not unless you have a powerful mechanical divider. Some woods are "pop" when put into the fire. I suspect that the gums, but I know for certain that poplar and cedar – that sent burning pieces that can burn your house down. I would stick to Hickory, oak and maple. Cherry has an offensive odor, but burn well and hot. If green wood is cut, let cure for several months before putting in the fire. If you start to use coal or diesel fuel, going down the wrong path. Learn how to get a fire started with only light. You can roll the paper and place small pieces of wood on top of that, lighting the role of both the lighting of your firewood. It gets a little bigger pieces that set up and let the light and then put the full-size division logs on the fire. Some say that too will pine creosote in the chimney, but pine burns hot, but quickly. It's okay if you put pine in the fire wood. Only by doing this for 60 years. Chain saws are dangerous and if the trees are falling, it's better to be around someone who has done it before. I always look at the top of the tree to determine how they would want to fall – see the heavy extremities. He cut a notch hinge in the direction you want to be fall, cutting almost halfway into the wood. Then cut on the opposite side, just above the notch. Do not take my word for anything, watch some videos, read some books, or would you yourself in the forest with a tree above you. Never cut a tree if it has no clear way to fall and cut trees, it is better to have a clean way out of the road. I met a dozen people have been killed because he knew how.
