18-25 years of age are most of his friends from the people you've known for a long time, or people who met recently?

Most of my friends I've known for at least 4 years, in many cases by more than 10. Just have made friends in recent years, taking into account that I have been in the university – maybe a couple of acquaintances in college, re-kindled a couple of old friends, but that's all. Is this normal or are friends of people with new people largely time? Did you ever meet someone and then they can take the same position of importance as an old friend, or is it always different? How long does it take to close anyone? I'd like to make new friends, but I am concerned that is a slow process is very difficult and they have old friends and not be overly interested in someone new.

3 years I have good friends that I have known for about 5 years and a handful of new "friends" that I'm wasting my time with when in college. I it is difficult to approach someone and really trust them, especially now, when most are shallow and care more about what you wear instead of what you think. A true friend is someone who is for you, no matter what. My advice is be yourself and not pretend, people feel the sincerity and feel drawn to you.
